Employment at the Texas Department of Banking
Applications are accepted only for posted positions. A State of Texas Application must be submitted for each position that the applicant wants to be considered. A completed State of Texas Application must be submitted directly to the Texas Department of Banking Human Resources Office. Applications may be mailed, faxed or sent by e-mail.

Vacancies are posted for a minimum of 10 working days. The State of Texas Application must be submitted to the Texas Department of Banking not later than 5:00 p.m. on the closing date of the job vacancy notice. For vacancies that are posted “open until filled” it is recommended that applications be submitted as soon as possible.
If the job vacancy notice indicates a requirement to submit college transcripts, the application will not be considered until the transcript is received.

- If you are applying for a position that requires college hours or a degree, you must attach a photocopy of your official college transcript(s).
- If you are interested in more than one position, please submit a separate State of Texas Application for each position.

New Department employees receive ethics and conflict of interest training during New Employee Orientation, and every year each employee is require to file an Annual Statement and Certification of Independence.
